L’Estrange Bikes Guarantee

Each bicycle is carefully prepared in this store to give you satisfaction and carries the manufacturers guarantee plus our own back up policy of customer satisfaction. Bicycles need regular maintenance in order to stay in top condition. We invite you to bring your new bicycle back for a free service within a month of purchase. This is important, as new bicycles need adjustment after they have been run in, otherwise loose or misaligned parts can cause premature wear and breakage.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - Retails
1    Bicycles bought on line for home delivery will be pre-packed in export quality cartons requiring only minimum assembly.
2    Prices quoted include carriage to any location in Ireland.
3    Our courier “DPD” provides a 2-day delivery service to UK and can deliver to all parts of Europe. We will quote very keen delivery charges on receipt of enquiry
4    Each bicycle carries the manufacturers guarantee plus our own commitment to customer satisfaction. We will provide pointers to proper assembly. No responsibility will be accepted for incorrect assembly.
5    Bicycles bought in store will be carefully prepared and carry our comprehensive written guarantee plus a free follow up service check within a month of purchase.
6    Email orders may be paid using online “ Realex” facility. Credit and Lazer cards accepted

PS
Advance orders:
All bicycles on offer are intended for Christmas market and will be dispatched in Nov/early Dec in time for Christmas. The advance order prices advertised will be honoured and won’t be subject to market fluctuation.

Pointers to proper assembly:
1    Pedals are handed, left and right (Reverse thread on left pedal)
2    Pedals must be tightened fully; otherwise they have a tendency to loosen in time. 15mm spanner required
3    Bottom bracket (axle on which pedal cranks are mounted) should be retightened as they can become loose with use. 14mm socket required
4    Brake block alignment should be checked, 5mm hex key supplied
5    Gears, where fitted, have two adjusting screws marked High and Low. These limit the travel of the derailleur. The big gear on rear wheel is low and the small gear on pedal chain wheel is high
6    We recommend that you recheck adjustments after the bicycle has been used for a week or two or when it is “run-in” as it would be normal for cables to stretch and bearings to bed-in.
